Position Summary:
The Human Resources (HR) Compliance Analyst under general supervision of the Senior Director of People Resources assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR Compliance Analyst carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, and employment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Senior Director with employee relations matters.
  • Gathers compliance acknowledgements, enters and maintains training records in database and is responsible for recordkeeping.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and tracking of State and Legislative regulatory changes that affect the restaurants.
  • Provides HR Compliance posters to all restaurant locations. Monitors modifications in regulatory changes to ensure all locations are compliant with up-to-date posters.
  • Assists with the development of an internal portal for HR on the Company’s intranet. Maintains the flow of information on the website.
  • Stay abreast on all employee-related legislative and regulatory changes and/or developments and ensure changes to rules and regulations are restructured with HR systems, policies, and practices.
  • Responsible for managing and updating tip credit forms to ensure minimum wage accurately reflect current laws in accordance with regulatory wage changes.
  • Review, scan and maintain employment-related and personnel files.
  • Prepare responses to third-party subpoenas, personnel file requests, and other employment related third-party requests for information and documents.
  • Assists as needed with departmental policies, procedures, and documents in support of the Compliance function.
  • Assists in data gathering and compiling of information for special projects as assigned.
  • Discreetly handle sensitive employee reports or information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge:
Proficient in Suite computer skills required. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong attention to detail while being results and solution driven. Track record of working with a sense of urgency, meeting deadlines while producing high quality work. Highly organized; detail-oriented to manage large sets of data from multiple sources. Ability to quickly identify critical trends, as well as data inconsistencies. Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years human resources experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
