This position reports to the Corporate Benefits Supervisor and is a non-exempt position. Principle areas of responsibilities shall include but aren’t limited to:

General Clerical - Provide general administrative support to the Benefits Department. This includes, but is not limited to answering the phone, maintaining department supplies, coordinating all FedEx and UPS shipments, and overseeing the annual Guideposts renewal.

Responsible for handling all locations’ newly eligible insurance enrollment labels, checklists, and letters for mailing of health enrollment documents. Prepare and send insurance packets to new enrollees and court ordered dependents. Manage document supply for insurance books and forms for packets.

Responsible for fulfilling orders for corporate forms and Benefits Orientation books/folders including obtaining quotes and coordinating printing and shipping.

Responsible for monthly budget reconciliation and Corporate Benefits Manager American Express statement preparation.

Assist, as directed, with coordinating company functions including Family Day, Thanksgiving luncheon, Christmas party and anniversary celebrations as needed. Create birthday cards and banners for Corporate employees and select employees at the locations.

On-Site Health Clinics – Assist the Benefits Manager with maintaining and coordinating (4) Mountaire Health & Wellness Clinic communications; Wellness DVDs and Poster inventory; Diabetic meter supply inventory; and ordering and maintaining supplies. Assist with design of posters and mailouts as needed.

Data Archiving & Retention - Archive a variety of monthly and weekly documents as determined by the Benefits Supervisor and/or Manager. Scanning and/or verification for Mountaire Corporation and Subsidiaries Retirement Plan and Mountaire Farms of Delmarva Profit Sharing Plan documents.

Responsible for the postage machine including communications for postage increases; ordering supplies; scheduling maintenance as needed; maintaining adequate postage funds; monthly reconciliation of all department usage; and maintain good working knowledge of the postage machine settings. Train new employees on the use of the machine.

Mail Outs – Coordinate all department mail outs which includes obtaining quotes for printing and handling postage for mailing. Responsible for coordinating NCOA address updating with locations.

Service Awards – Assist the Corporate Benefits Supervisor with the administration of Service Award program.

Relief Support - Assist with front desk lunch relief, vacation relief and sick day relief. Serve as the backup for the drug testing program and for 401(k) distribution processing.
