The leader will work closely with the other internal stakeholders and teams to utilize Rheem's Customer-centric focus to address customer needs and expectations. You will bring your expertise to educate and deliver best-in- class experiences to Rheem's customers by utilizing industry expertise and skills to build a team and deliver a strategy that foster’s customer loyalty and satisfied dependency.

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support for human resources.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Greets and assists employees and customers.
  • Serves as backup for payroll processing.
  • Prepares badges and security database.
  • Enter payment invoicing into Oracle iProcurement.
  • Updates HRIS system for transfers, department changes, supervisor updates, disciplinary actions, personal information changes, etc.
  • Assists with pre-employment activities such preparing and posting jobs, listing jobs with recruiters, coordinating interviews with department heads, and performing background checks. Assists with reference checks, relocation preparation.
  • Assists with post-employment activities such as the preparation for new employee orientation and creating and maintaining personnel files.

  • Prepares new employee announcements for bulletin boards and assists with bulletin board material and postings.

  • Order office supplies.

  • Manages and prepares employee functions such as retirement parties and employee meetings, Orders food, flowers, etc.

  • Prepares and maintains applicant flow logs.

  • Manages records per our records retention policy and prepares records for storage or destruction.
  • Assists in the administration of the company employee programs such as attendance, perfect attendance, service awards, Peer Review, employee purchase programs, and service awards.
  • Assists with benefit administration.
  • Maintains a database of up-to-date job descriptions.
  • Assists with charitable donation programs such as community blood drives, and annual United Way Drives.
  • Assists with weekly, monthly, and annual human resources reports.

  • Maintain personnel records as required.

  • Prepares company newsletters.

  • Prepares documents for employee and handouts for employees

  • Assists with various projects.

Qualifications


WHAT YOU NEED


  • Prefer an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Must have Alabama Driver License
