Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Directs and performs various tasks to ensure the cleanliness of a nursing or retirement facility for the elderly.
• Directs the performance of employees in the use of laundering machines; loading articles into washer and specified amounts of detergents or other cleaning agents; lifting of clean wet articles from washer and placing them into hamper to transport to dryers for measured time cycles; sorting dry articles according to identification numbers or type and the folding and placing of items in the appropriate storage bin.
• Evaluates employees in the performance of their tasks.

Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor Qualifications

• Candidates should have 1-2 years supervisory experience, preferably in a long term care setting.
• This position requires flexibility in work shifts when needed.
