Job description

The position is responsible for cleaning guest rooms to include hotel rooms, condos, and casitas in accordance with company guidelines and procedures. Our housekeepers work in teams of two to complete their tasks throughout the day. Hours are 9am to 5:30pm and include working days, weekends and holidays.

Job Duties:

  • Strip bed and replace with clean linens
  • Replace all towels
  • Dust using care not to disturb the guest’s belongings
  • Remove trash and place in dumpster
  • Take soiled linens and towels to laundry department
  • Stock cleaning caddies each day
  • Stock hotel supply room daily
  • Wipe patio tables & chairs
  • Assist with laundry
  • Maintain equipment in good condition
  • Reports all maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, tugging, pulling, reaching, squatting and climbing
  • Must be able to often lift, push, pull or drag items weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Requires frequent repetitive motion
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Requires frequent exposure to heat and cold
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary due to operational needs
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must use Personal Protective Equipment as required

Caliente is a Clothing-Optional Resort and Residential Community. All staff are fully clothed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour
