Custodial Job Description:
Custodial is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a building and the surrounding areas.
Their duties include vacuuming floors, sanitizing restrooms, and collecting trash to
ensure the building’s occupants have a clean space.
Custodial main responsibility:
v Cleaning wood, Tile, Concrete, and Carpet
v Shampooing rugs and carpets
v Emptying trash
v Cleaning vents
v Dusting all surfaces
v Waxing and stripping floors
v Cleaning restrooms
v Washing windows and doors
v Sweeping sidewalks
v Maintaining a thorough inventory
v Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners
Custodial Skills and Qualifications:
v Ability to stand and walk for long periods
v Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds
v Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools
v Time management and multitasking abilities
v Organization skills
v Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
v Ability to work with minimal supervision
Custodial Education: Must have high school diploma or GED
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Smyrna, TN 37167: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
