Description:
- Ability to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, as well as facility policy/procedure, and as directed by the Housekeeping Director.
- Ability to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
- Ability to follow housekeeping/cleaning schedules, instructions from your supervisor, and as outlined in our established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
- Previous experience in a Long Term Care Facility preferred
- High School Diploma preferred
- Ability to speak read and write English.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
