Heartwood Lodge Trinity Health is a skilled nursing center located in the beautiful sand dunes in Spring Lake, Michigan. We are a team of passionate individuals striving to meet and exceed our customers' expectations.

Housekeeper - Full Time, Part Time

General Purpose:

- To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for residents, residents' family members, and fellow co-workers.

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

- Performs cleaning duties in resident rooms and common areas throughout the facility.

- Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.

- Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.

- Follows departmental policies and procedures.

- Follows all safety and sanitation policies.

- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to residents, family members, and guests.

- Performs additional duties as needed.

Housekeeper Qualifications:

- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

- Able to comprehend written and oral communication.

- Must be able to lift, push, pull, bend down and move equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of 35 pounds.

- Must be able to document work performed and follow guidelines for such documentation.

- Must be able to tactfully and professionally interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agency personnel, and the general public.

- Must have a strong understanding of Infection Control.

- Must maintain all facility-required training and education.

Education and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
