RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all end-of- day front desk and night audit functions, including reviewing cashier audits for accuracy, balancing credit card postings to computer system, maintaining computer database integrity daily, and auditing of master bills.
  • Keeps track of the history of the financial transactions that have taken place during both day and night hours.
  • Works as a desk clerk to check in late arrivals
  • Prepare, balance, post, and distribute all necessary reports daily.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of all property receipts.
  • Maintain guest service standards at the front desk at all times.
  • Solves guest-related problems within scope of authority, including complaints and billing discrepancies.
  • Follow cash handling procedures as outlined by the accounting department; collect payment at check-out and provides change for guests as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma

  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
  • Previous guest relations training and experience
  • Prior Opera Property Management System training is preferred.
  • Flexibility in working hours, must be willing to work overnight
  • Ability to deal with internal & external guests with a high level of professionalism, tact and diplomacy
  • College degree preferred
  • Any communication or customer relations training or certifications preferred

SKILLS: * Must be willing to multi-task with flexibility to change in a professional manner

  • Must meet and exceed expectations with little supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to represent the hotel continuously in a professional manner with knowledge and respect of all departments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
