Job Description

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring a fresh and sanitized room for all guests. Prepares each room assigned for the arrival of new guests in accordance with the hotels' service standards.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all guestrooms and related areas.
• Ensure that all housekeeping operations are carried out and maintained to high standards at all times.
• Making up beds with fresh linen.
• Dusting each piece of furniture inside and outside including lamps, shades, pictures, and doors.
• Vacuuming and spot cleaning of carpets in rooms
• Cleaning by washing and drying of all areas in the bathroom.
• Replacing all guest supplies in the room and bathroom.
• Know the correct procedure for entering a guest room.
• Check room for damaged furniture and equipment. Report damage and missing items to your supervisor immediately.
• Be friendly and responsive to guest needs.
• Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Monitor and control supplies/amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
