At Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham in Sunbury, we currently have an open position for a Guest Service Representative. We would welcome the opportunity to speak to you regarding this position and answer all questions you might have.

Responsibilities:

• All guests within 4 feet of the desk are acknowledged.
• Check guests out and provide receipts.
• Verify and check in guests.
• Create reservations properly.
• Provide information regarding amenities, restaurants, directions, local attractions, and local public facilities (shopping, entertainment etc.).
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
• Ensure the lobby, front desk, back office, market, and breakfast area stay clean and stocked.
• Prepare and maintain the breakfast area.
• Maintain a presence at the property by performing property walks.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the front desk area.
• Control access to the premises by issuing keys or card key access.
• Fix Billing issues and perform service recovery if needed.
• Assist managers and other coworkers with tasks when needed.
• Coordinate the removal of unruly guests with managers, law enforcement, etc.

Requirements:

• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to stand during all guest interactions.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to walk for 10-15 minutes at a time
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to make commute to work

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

• Night shift
• On call
• Overnight shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sunbury, OH 43074: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
