POSITION OVERVIEW

To Serve our guests in the Nobu style and to ensure their dining experience is a smooth and memorable experience. To impart the knowledge of our product to the guest in the way you have been trained. To pay attention to the minutest of details during the course of the guest’s time with you.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Greet guests in the Nobu style and to ensure their dining experience is a smooth and memorable experience.
• Take phone reservations and requests when required in a professional and courteous manner.
• Effectively control the host desk and communicate with guests regarding their reservation, wait time, and any walk-in customers.
• Reset and clear tables.
• Ensure smooth operation of the front desk.
• Pay attention to the minutest details during the time you are with the guests.
• Show guests to table or bar.
• Set up, maintain, and clean the desk.
• Comply with all health & safety and Fire safety procedures and attend all compulsory trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years’ experience preferred
• Food Handlers card or obtain within 30-days of hire date.
• Responsible Beverage Service certification or obtain within 60-days of hire date.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

• Bilingual is preferred. English/Spanish

The position entitles flexible working hours and will include nights, weekends and major holidays.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to indoor and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to hot, wet, or humid conditions. Requires extended work hours, weekends, and some holidays as needed for special projects/events. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
