The primary purpose of your job position is to provide non-direct care resident services, in accordance with current acceptable clinical, and ethical standards and Federal, State Standards contractual and corporate, regulations, and guidelines that govern Nursing Services.

Hospitality Aide will assist the nurses and aides with :

Support and promote the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Nursing Department.

Providing fresh water by bedside, replace and label the lid cover with date, unless the resident is on restrictions (check residents who are on Thickened liquids, NPO, Fluid restrictions etc. There should be no regular water by bedside)

Preparing residents for meals, propping up, repositioning, placing protective clothing, etc.

Removing trays after meals

Assist in organizing resident’s rooms, closets, drawers and placing residents personal items within resident’s reach.

Clean and label resident’s combs, brushes etc

Transport residents to the Day room/ dining room or to Therapy gym

Answer call bells

Help passing hydration, snacks and nutritional supplements as directed.

Escort resident for outside appointments.

Monitor residents who require constant monitoring e.g., fall risk, elopement risks etc.

Assist CNA as directed when necessary.

Assist the Activity department in providing activity programming to the residents as directed.

Report immediately to Lead CNA and nurse for any unusual occurrence or complaints.
