We are looking for a detail oriented Horticulture Greenhouse Technician who will help oversee our small greenhouse operation and help with plants and installs with our clients in the Ft Myers/ Estero area. Our normal operational hours are Monday through Friday and once in a while some weekend time could be needed (but that is rare).

Plant Partners, Inc.- Tropex is a leader in the Interiorscape industry/ We were founded 41 years ago to provide live plant maintenance, leasing, and sales to customers. We may be in the interior plant business as a product but our main focus is in providing outstanding customer service.

Our Greenhouse Technician position will work with our Customer Service Manager to:

* Oversee the horticultural care provided by technicians for assigned client accounts.

* Ensure customer satisfaction and excellent quality of service.

* Keep the plants in our greenhouse maintained and help to manage the inventory of the plants and container.

* Help with plant installs and removals at our customer accounts according to our projects.

* Inspect equipment and vehicles to ensure that it is in safe and proper working order.

* Run a route and handle some accounts and fill in for routes when employees are out.

* Any other items that come up as part of the operation of the division assigned by management.

Requirements:

Must have experience in Horticulture or at least an Associates Degree in Landscaping, Horticulture, or an other related discipline.

Must have a valid Florida drivers license and the ability to drive vans and passenger vehicles

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders

Must be able to pass all pre-hire requirements which includes a background check, drug screening, and physical. All applicants will complete these items so if you can not pass the drug test, this is not the job for you.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
