WE NEED NURSES....Centria Healthcare works hard to provide in home nursing care for children born with respiratory complications. We have an abundance of opportunities in the Lapeer, North Branch, and Yale areas. Currently we have 3 clients in need of private duty nursing. Shift times vary from 8hrs up to 12 hrs a day with the flexibility to meet your scheduling needs. We offer flexible nurse driven scheduling. We have part time opportunities as well as full time opportunities. You can even work with Centria as a supplement to your current job. The opportunities are endless.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties outlined in patient's plan of care
• TBI + SCI rehabilitation
• Pediatrics
• Geriatrics
• Ventilator and Tracheotomy care (Training Provided)
• Gastrostomy tube care (Training Provided)
• Dispensing medications
• Observe client’s physical, mental and emotional conditions.
• Report any changes
• Document observed changes
• Communicates effectively with Clinical team to increase optimal outcomes
• Maintains professional nature within the home setting

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to utilize computers/tablets and computer software
• Current state license as an RN or LPN
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Current negative TB skin test or negative chest X-ray
• Current flu vaccine
• CPR certified

Schedule:

Centria's clients have a wide variety of shifts; Days, Nights, Weekends, Visits etc. Our client's needs dictate their schedule. With our vast census of clientele, we are sure to find the perfect fit for anyone.
