We are looking for a full time Hospice Registered Nurse for a high paying After Hours / Overnight On-Call RN position in Home Health Care. The RN will not have a patient caseload. There is a Triage RN who will take the after-hour calls and you will only be reached out to if a treatment is deemed necessary. The on-call schedule is Sunday - Saturday on a rotational basis with a team of nurses. The nurse can work mostly at home for this position and can sleep during these hours but must be available to answer the phone and possibly go out to do a visit if a patient's call can't be handled any other way. The Registered Nurse will only have to go out and do a treatment in an emergency. The RN will be on-call for 10-hour shifts and must be able to commit to a consistent 4 shifts each week. The pay is generous for this position, and there is a shift differential for nights and weekends on top of base pay. The Registered Nurse will be paid a guaranteed 8 hours of work for every shift (base rate plus differentials) plus 2 hours of on call pay (paid at minimum wage) no matter how many visits they end up doing. The On-Call after-hours/overnight hours are typically from 5pm-3am or 11pm-9am. This registered nurse on-call position is with a Hospice company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. AFTER HOURS / ON CALL RN HOME HOSPICE REQUIREMENTS: We will accept Registered Nurses with 1 year of experience in ANY setting, however if the nurse/therapist does have experience with med/surg patients, that is a plus including Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. Any experience will be accepted as long as the RN has at least one year of licensed experience. You must be registered as a nurse and have a current license in the state. The RN must either be a US Citizen or have your green card. This company requires a COVID-19 vaccine. You may apply for the exemption.
