As a Community Outreach Care Attendant, you will provide care and aid to patients and their families through home visits and transportation to medical facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients and family caregivers with activities of daily living (ADLs) including, but not limited to, personal hygiene, personal care, eating, etc.
- Monitor patient medication while providing prescription instructions and acknowledging compliance with the patient's family.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform medical (glucose/blood pressure) tests, as directed (Training provided).
- Adhere to all Oneida Indian Nation Health Services Security and Confidentiality policies and procedures in regard to daily job functions and receive annual updated training.
Requirements:
- Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid NYS HHA or CNA certification
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have full COVID vaccination or willing to obtain
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
