Serene Gardens of Sterling Heights is hiring Caregivers for 1st and 2nd shift for our community! Serene Gardens is a beautiful senior living community that is looking for dedicated individuals that enjoy working with seniors, assisting in areas such as mealtime, bathing, preparing for the day and evening, self-care and socialization.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Completing AM and PM care of residents
• Escorting residents to and from meals, activities, appointments, etc.
• Assisting with showers and bathing.
• Providing appropriate safety checks
• Encouraging socialization of residents and hosting activities
• Assist in and around dining room as needed
• Assist with laundry as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work well unsupervised
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to socially interact and perform under pressure
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and have positive interactions with residents and families
