Job Description:


  • Provide EHR support to Gastro Health's employees, providers and business partners
  • Serve as primary point of contact for ticketing and answering of telephones
  • Responds to tickets assigned to this position within 24 hours
  • Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions
  • Solve user issues by using sound judgement and Gastro Health's best practices
  • Utilize help desk software to document problems, resolutions, and closures
  • Aid in the coordination and implementation of decisions made by Clinical Quality and Outcomes Committee; including orders, order sets, clinical guidelines, clinical documentation (notes, forms, patient history, conditions, diagnoses, and plans) and clinical templates
  • Assist in the planning, testing and implementation of EHR upgrades, enhancements, policies and procedures
  • Participate in the development of information system training and support programs
  • Assist in practice management and EMR implementation at each Gastro Health site, including all configuration, training, and on-site go-live support
  • Document, develop and oversee policies and procedures related to health care information management and coordinate connecting clinical, operational, and administrative functions
  • Maintain the highest standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and security
  • Maintain a positive working relationship peers, superiors, and external customers

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • AS degree preferred
  • eClinicalWorks certification desired
  • Knowledge of office processes, procedures and technology
  • Knowledge of company supported hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws as they pertain to the use of computer software
  • Evening and weekend on-call rotation
