A smaller community hospital located an hour from Joplin, Missouri is seeking a full-time permanent HIM Manager - Health Information Technology to join their team!

The HIM Manager Job Description:

• Full-time, direct hire opportunity
• Monday through Friday, day shift
• Great leadership and administration team!

• Duties include developing and overseeing all organizational initiatives related to the development, implementation, auditing, improvement, and adherence to the organization’s Privacy policies and procedures, monitoring developments relating to privacy and assisting with departmental quality improvement
• Ensures compliance with audits and established regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Responsible for development of goals, objectives, budgets, and performance standards relative to HIM operations.

The HIM Manager Job Requirements:

• Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• RHIA or RHIT credential preferred
• Must have at least 3 years of experience working in an HIM environment
• Must have at least 2 years of experience with Electronic Medical Record systems
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in overseeing Release of Information processes
• MS Office experience is required
