We are seeking a passionate and driven Hematology Therapeutic Specialist for our Seattle territory to join ADCT’s Field Sales team.

The Hematology Therapeutic Specialist will report to the Regional Business Director in the West region. This position will cover Washington, Alaska and parts of Idaho and Montana.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for exceeding sales goals through promoting ADC Therapeutics hematology therapeutic products within an assigned territory in a compliant and appropriate manner.
  • Calls on Academic Medical Centers, Hospital Systems, the VA System, IDNs, Cancer Centers, Oncology Practices, Medical Oncologists, Hematologists, Nurses and associations.
  • Builds deep relationships with customer base and key opinion leaders by providing value and educating on ADCT promoted products with a patient-focused approach.
  • Create and execute effective territory management plan, consistently evolve launch plans, uses market data and insights to achieve assigned goals.
  • Always act with integrity: Comply with applicable laws in providing healthcare providers with accurate information concerning ADCT products.
  • Participates in assigned training. Maintains and demonstrates a high level of product and market knowledge through training and continuous learning, relevant market products, indications, treatment guidelines, market conditions, competitive activities, patient access, and promotional trends.
  • Serves as a disease state expert and provides a high level of product expertise and customer service for all accounts.
  • Maintains frequent communication with manager and other collaborative partners within the organization.
  • Educates customers on patient access resources and partners with market access colleagues to resolve patient access challenges in a timely manner
  • Effectively implements and utilizes all approved sales/marketing programs and resources.
  • Utilizes customer relationship management system to provide market insights and enhance impact of sales calls and territory management.
  • Maintains current key customer target lists, submits regular updates to the customer database and plans calls to meet goals.
  • Works well with other cross functional teammates in a truly patient forward collaborative manner (MSLs, Regional Marketers, Access Team, Sales Operations, etc.).
  • A key factor of success will be when to reach out to and how to best utilize the cross functional team
  • The end result of this collaboration will be processes to build, constantly refine and deliver on an account plan to drive success in the assigned key accounts and in the community
  • Completes administrative and training responsibilities in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Reports Adverse Events (AEs) in accordance with company policy.
  • Attends and participates in all required meetings and training programs.
Requirements:

Who you are:

  • Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry preferred
  • 2+ proven success within Oncology/Hematology or Rare Disease, Start-up experience preferred
  • Motivated by patient focus and demonstrate a sense of urgency
  • Established customer rapport and relationships in geographic area preferred
  • Successful experience in navigating a virtual sales environment is a plus
  • Experience selling in complex, competitive clinical environments preferred; sales experience in hematology preferred or equivalent in clinic experience
  • Demonstrated access and understanding of Key customers within assigned geography; existing relationship with key targets is a plus
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and partner with all levels – internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous launch experience with IV oncology products, patient access, and distribution preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to travel as necessary
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
