Charleston ENT & Allergy is looking for an IT Specialist and Help Desk Coordinator! Our IT Specialists provide critical hands-on support for end-users at all levels of the organization. This includes everything from responding to service tickets, to answering calls and questions from our staff.CENTA is growing and expanding into different areas of South Carolina, and we need more hands on deck! This person will be stationed in West Ashley and travel to various northern offices, performing on-the-spot assessments and troubleshooting. Travel includes the northern Charleston area, Beaufort area, Columbia, and Orangeburg, with the possibility of more to come. This position will support these offices as we set up new systems, ensuring their networks are compatible with team workflows and are structured to support the efficient execution of day to day duties. Core duties include hands-on hardware, software, and phone support; remote access support; HIPAA compliance; and working closely with various departments and cross-functional teams to ensure technological solutions effectively meet team goals.
As a member of CENTA’s IT staff, you’ll be a valued asset, working mostly behind the scenes with users at all levels of the organization to resolve technological hiccups (as well as the occasional “user error”). Because there is so much interaction with our staff, the successful candidate will genuinely enjoy working with people and will be comfortable communicating IT solutions to non-techies.
