Job description
Heavy Mechanic Level II or Level III
Required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen.
- Ability to work overtime, which may include weekends or a different shift.
- Some computer skills a plus.
- Certified Technician in Maintenance, Heavy Equipment or other relevant certifications in General Heavy Rolling Maintenance.
Must be able to work any shift and available for after hours call in
Provide personal mechanics tools
No fear of heights
Work experience:
Experience with electrical/wiring systems
hydraulic system experience
pneumatic system experience
welding experience or welding certification
diesel/gas mechanic experience
heavy equipment mechanic experience
Auto mechanic experience
experience with electric over hydraulic control systems
Experience of common plumbing/water systems.
Optional
Experience with maintenance and repair of stone work equipment
Experience with maintenance and repair of Quarry drill, saw, waterjet
Experience with maintenance and repair of overhead crane systems
