The Field Project Specialist is a customer-facing position that oversees the successful execution of field commissioning, set-up, training, and operation activities of key projects for Vilter. In addition to the below responsibilities, this role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent collaboration and organizational abilities, who takes action to ensure project completion timeliness and customer satisfaction.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Provide exceptional customer service to exceed customer needs.
• Conduct pre-commissioning meetings and assess job sites for readiness.
• Collaborate closely with Field Service Managers and Technicians to ensure adherence to project scope and the use of the most efficient methods.
• Establish project milestones with customers and communicate progress updates.
• Resolve issues promptly while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Optimize material and labor resources whenever possible.
• Document and track the cost of quality throughout projects.
• Continually recommend and develop new processes and tools to enhance customer experience and operational productivity.
• Validate the quality of work, including installation, commissioning, set-up, documentation, and closeout requirements.
• Ensure all jobs and contracts are fulfilled to customer satisfaction.
• Build relationships with external customers, including general contractors, project managers, members of the Emerson sales teams, clients, subcontractors, and field resources.
• Build relationships with internal colleagues, such as Technical Support, Warranty, Accounting, Customer Service, Production, etc. to facilitate the successful delivery of projects.
• Act as a business agent and be heavily involved in developing relationships with key accounts and understanding customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with all government and company safety, health, and environmental requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's (AA) degree or equivalent from a two-year (2) college, technical school, or military experience

• Three (3+) years of experience in a construction supervisory role, project management, or field service role
• Excellent communication and administrative skills
• Familiarity with basic machine shop equipment, hand tools, and industrial repair/maintenance techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including MS Word and Excel
• Team player, willing to learn from experienced staff and introduce positive changes
• Valid driver’s license and passport required
• Willing to travel approximately 50% of the time
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Legal authorization to work within the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**- Experience with gas compression, industrial chillers, and/or industrial refrigeration

• Bi-lingual (Spanish)
