Data Analyst
The Data Analyst will be creating and maintaining dashboards and KPIs. Also, analyzing health management programs including data collection, validation, and outcome measurements.
Must be local to Metro Detroit area - this is not a remote position. Our office is in Southfield, MI
Responsibilities:
Duties will include but not limited to:

Data collection, validation and outcome measurements for:
-
Primary care financials, pharmacy, claims, provider, and patient data IRS, CMS, HHSC, HEDIS reporting
-
Internal data cleansing and data reconciliation analysis
-
Trend analysis in various functional areas of health care management
-
HEDIS experience
-
SQL experience and procedure writing ability
-
SAS experience
-
Experience with Excel, BI tool science, and working with patient data
-
Healthcare experience
-
Create and generate reports through MS-Excel, MS-Access, and SQL using Business Objects interface and direct links to core databases (ODS/EDW)
-
Create visual reports for and interface with senior management and internal and external stakeholders.

Gather and interpret business requirements and monitor data trends to proactively identify issues
-
Execute data changes and update core systems as needed

Handle multiple projects and timelines effectively and communicate risks and issues to manager regularly
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Statistics preferred. Will also consider equivalent professional experience

2+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience – SAS
-
Advanced knowledge of Business Objects, SQL, and Microsoft Applications, Power BI, Tableau, Sisense,
-
including Excel and Access
-
Healthcare and HEDIS experience required
-
Statistics and machine learning background
-
2+ years of tools/programming languages Python, R, and Java Script
