No prior experience is care is necessary as we support you through a healthcare assistant induction and support you to complete the national Care Certificate.
Main duties of the job
- Hold the right to work in the UK (certificate of sponsorship is not available for this role)
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks, which can last a number of weeks and includes a medical and criminal record check

Nottingham University Hospitals is looking to employ healthcare assistants to work at both Queens Medical and City Hospital campus.

These roles are essential to the experience of our patients and their relatives and carers and they complement the clinical care provided by our doctors, nurses, midwives and therapists.

What to expect after applying:
Once the application deadline has closed, all applications will be reviewed by a shortlisting panel.
If you are successfully shortlisted, you will be invited to a face to face interview. The interview will include a welcome session where you can find out more about us and vice versa. This is then followed by a numeracy and literacy test before your interview.
