Health Care Assistants
– Hospice at Home Team (Employed by SPDNS partners of St Luke’s Hospice)

Pay rate starting at £10.20 per hour, with enhancements paid evenings, weekends and bank holidays and paid travel time and mileage.
Required for both Thurrock and Basildon area.
St Luke’s works in partnership with SPDNS in delivering end of life care. In this role you will be delivering end of life care, to people in their own homes within the community.
This may involve personal care such as washing and dressing, providing simple meals, assisting with medication and promoting good health and wellbeing.
We also provide respite care, where you may sit with an individual, so that their partner, wife or husband can go out and have a much needed break.
This role also comes with full training, where you will undertake the Care certificate as part of your induction training and we also offer regular updates and opportunities to develop your skills.
For community posts access to your own vehicle is required
