About the role and our team

Join our team as a Health Care Assistant within the Day Procedures Suite at Noble’s Hospital!

Within this role, you will assist patients with their dietary and nutritional needs, carry out and record basic observations and assist with moving and handling. You will also communicate with patients, their family and friends on a daily basis, so we’re looking for someone with great interpersonal skills.

This role offers a great work-life balance as you’ll work Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Your early shifts will be from 7.30am to 3.30pm and your late shifts from 11.30am to 7.30pm.

What can this role offer me?

You don’t need any qualifications or experience for this role and you will receive on the job training. You’ll have access to all the great courses the Isle of Man Government offer, through LEAD, our Learning, Education and Development Service.

If you’re new to working in health care, you’ll be supported to obtain the NVQ Level 2 qualification.

Free parking and a laundry service for your uniform will be available to you.

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, which Manx Care will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.

A uniform will also be provided.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
