Job description
OCO's Head Start provides a quality pre-kindergarten program for three and four-year-old children. This position assists the Head Start Teacher and Teaching Assistant.
DUTIES:
- Provide supervision of the children during school readiness activities throughout the day
- Assisting with the general maintenance of the classroom
- Helping to ensure all children's needs are met
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work effectively with pre-school children and their parents
- Ability to work well in a team-teaching atmosphere
- Exhibit good judgement
- Be a positive role model for children and parents
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 months related experience
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per Head Start mandate or qualify for an exemption waiver
Part-time 20 hours per week, 37 weeks per year
Monday through Friday - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
