Job description
We're currently recruiting for a Head Office Security Assistant to ensure effective security levels are adhered to in order to protect the company assets, reputation, people and property by undertaking key routine tasks.
As Security Assistant (known internally as Loss Prevention Assistant) you'll conduct activity on site which will reduce the risk of internal and external crime and also ensure the safety of colleagues in emergency situations such as fire evacuations.
The team operates on a shift basis to provide 24 hour support, so we’re keen to hear from individuals who are comfortable with night shifts and long days.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
Managing pedestrian and vehicle access control
Ensuring appropriate levels of security and safety of colleagues and visitors to site are maintained
Working collaboratively as part of the Head Office Security team
Communicate Loss Prevention directives and procedures in a simple and engaging manner
Conduct colleague, vehicle and locker searches and frequent site internal and external perimeter patrols
Carry out observations and conduct remote CCTV monitoring in response to ad hoc requests
Carry out routine Loss Prevention checks to reduce loss of company property
Undertake (when necessary) site investigations into loss of cash or company property
As you might assume, Security experience would be beneficial in this role, however we also welcome applications from individuals who feel that they have relevant, transferable skills. Full training will be provided.
