Bartender / Craft Cocktail Specialist

Madison's Craft-Casual Public House Sweet Home Wisconsin (the SHoW) is seeking 1 or 2 Bartenders to work side-by-side with management and ownership to successfully promote our creativity and innovation as we continue to grow into the future. We are a unique bar/restaurant featuring Craft food and beverages. Our mission is to offer only the highest quality products served in a fun, welcoming, and casual environment. Our Kitchen prepares mainly nostalgic Wisconsin comfort food made with fresh, high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients for our made-from-scratch recipes. Our Bar features rotating craft beer taps, made-from-scratch craft cocktails, original cocktails, and Madison's first CBD cocktail menu.

Providing a positive work environment is of highest priority and is the back-bone or a successful restaurant. The combination of having a smaller staff of professionals and a smaller restaurant truly allows us to focus on exceptional service, a quality over quantity way of thinking, and an enjoyable low-stress work environment. Responsibilities Include

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish FOH inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Sustain cleanliness and sanitation of restaurant

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a server and/or bartender
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
