Job Summary

This position provides full-service hazardous materials and environmental emergency response and special services in a safe manner that delivers quality work. This position will require non-traditional working hours, including all shifts and weekends. The company responds and completes work throughout the United States. Extended travel for up to one - two weeks may be necessary at times.

Work conditions consist of diverse indoor and outdoor conditions, including but not limited to, extreme hot and cold temperatures, elevated work areas, confined spaces, heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity. Humidity/wet conditions may also be present. Noise conditions frequently reach loud levels during work activities. This would include working around all types of vehicles, construction equipment, pumps, generators etc. Will frequently work with hazardous waste and hazardous chemicals.

Qualifications and Skills

Desired minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Technician training certificate, Confined Space Entry & Rescue training certificate, a strong work ethic, organization skills, ability to work independently and also with a team, have a valid driver's license, have a clean driving and criminal record, pass annual medical physicals and random drug and alcohol testing and be able to travel for work on a scheduled and non-scheduled emergency basis. Heavy equipment operations (excavators, dozers, track loaders, etc.), CDL, mechanical, construction, gas and oil, or previous experience is preferred.
