Korpi Lawn & Landscape is seeking qualified candidates to join our team as a Hardscape & Masonry Foreman. Korpi foreman are responsible for installation and management of landscape projects. Foreman are responsible for completing jobs with the high-quality standard set forth by the company's founder. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with the ability to motivate their crew along with other team members to achieve the tasks at hand.

Job Functions:

• Manage activities on the job site
• Manage personnel at least a 3-man crew effectively and efficiently
• Communicate and coordinate with the customer and/or designer effectively for accurate completion of jobs
• This position is fulltime
• Maintaining relevant Standards on the job including ANSI, ICPI, SRW, NCMA, MCAA, but not limited to, as well as staying abreast and implementing updated trade practices and relevant news
• Train and promote the development of subordinates in the best practice
• Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately
• Always maintain a clean and safe job site
• Communicate regularly with Operations

Job Requirements

• 7+ Years of experience
• CDL Certificate Class A within 1 year, with health endorsement and a clean driving record
• Proficient in medium weight equipment operating skills
• Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees
• ICPI Certification within 1 years of starting Foreman position, with ongoing education and further certifications as needed.
• Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail oriented
• Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun & fast paced environment
• Strong verbal & written communication skills. As the leader of a work crew this is extremely important.
• Good time management skills; be available for seasonal long hours and weekends
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background
• Clients, contractors, vendors, designers, employees
• Punctual and dependable
• Must have the ability to work in the rain and extreme temperatures
• Ability to lift, pull and push up to 125lbs, carry materials, bend, twist, kneel, climb, and balance
• Ability to walk at a brisk pace and work in a kneeling position for extended periods of time.
• Always uphold company policy and procedure and standard of conduct
• Ability to follow direction
• Skills to manage job flow, materials, expenses, and good record keeping (organization)
• Ability to comprehend and implement blueprints and designs
• Mechanical skills as necessary to make simple repairs and always keep equipment in good working order.
• Other duties as they may arise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
