Handyman/Woman

GoJet Airlines is looking for a reliable Handyman/Woman to undertake basic facility upkeep, and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of our St. Louis, Missouri Headquarter office location. We’ll rely on you to keep our facilities in good condition by doing various odd jobs. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job.

Job Qualifications
Required:

• Must have the legal right to accept employment in the United States.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English

• TSA required fingerprint check for Criminal History Records Check

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• Able to stand for extended periods of time

• Able to climb stairs, ladders, and work platforms

• Able to kneel, bend, and sit

Job Specifics

• Perform maintenance and light repairs

• Paint and fill gaps or crevices

• Undertake light installation or carpeting

• Repair equipment or appliances

• Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC repairs

• Identify and report the need for major repairs

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience as handyman

• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems

• Basic math skills

• Good communication ability

• Well-organized and apt in problem-solving

• Eager attitude

• Attention to detail
