Position Summary:

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join our existing team of seasonal Guest Service professionals! From the moment our guests see your smiling face welcoming them at check-in, to their last looks as they drive away from an amazing camping experience, you will be someone that finds absolute joy in owning their experience! Our team member’s attitude of choice is happy and we are ALWAYS helpful. We ensure a fast and pleasant check-in and a tidy and organized area to do so in. Our front desk agents are responsible for the campstore as well! We always ensure our store, full of awesome items for our campers, is well-stocked and inviting. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent organization skills and quick-thinking! Whether you are answering the phone to assist with our valued guest’s questions, or you are helping someone find their campsite- We always go the extra mile for a smile!

Essential Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Efficiently and professionally operate all features at the front desk and guest service station, including taking reservations, checking guests in and out from their stay, handling site charges or rental fees with guests, and addressing issues or concerns appropriately.
  • Use the Blue Water Way to provide an impactful guest interaction from phone handling to face-to-face guest interactions
  • Support concierge department through helpfulness and supportive guest relations including directing guests, answering questions, or assisting in making arrangements to support their stay at the property
  • Follow the daily procedure for opening and closing of guest service center including ensuring a clean and orderly guest service center and environment
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures including collecting monies, site charging, and cash drops
  • Ensures the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and guest-ready always.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Provides regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to work a diverse schedule to include weekends, holidays, and evening hours.
  • Must work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
  • Must be able to effectively use computers and technologies including answering the phones, using computers, copiers, fax machines as well as credit card or cash machines
  • Excellent communication skills


Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years in a front desk, reservations, or customer service-oriented role


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, use a telephone, and have the dexterity to operate a computer and various systems. This position requires standing for long periods.
