AM SHIFT - 7am to 3pm, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

The Guest Service Agent is the one who welcomes the guest to the hotel when they arrive for check-in and wishes them a farewell upon their departure. They are also the one who ensures our guests' stay at Courtyard Minneapolis Downtown meets or exceeds their expectations. Should there be challenge along the stay, the Guest Service Agent has the opportunity to take the challenge and turn it around and make it a successful stay. Responsibilities:

• Register and check out guests promptly and efficiently upon arrival to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain a professional posture at all times and always be overly attentive to guest satisfaction.
• Perform all guest accounting functions according to established hotel operating procedures to ensure all guest and house accounts are complete and accurate.
• Follow all established credit procedures for payment by credit card and cash paying guests. Ensure all guests establish credit upon check in and monitor guest accounts.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of all service and facilities of the hotel and immediate community to effectively assist hotel guests.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area at all times.
• Receive and process reservations accurately and effectively according to procedure.
• Review all reservations and assign rooms based on availability, special requests, and hotel promotions to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize room revenues.
• Review front office communications log each shift.
• Assist and serve all guests and team members (in person and on the phone) in a sincere and courteous manner, ensuring the finest hospitality and professionalism.

Pay: $17.00 / hour /Part-Time Available / 7am to 3pm shift, mostly Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

Being warm and knowledgeable as the first point of contact for our guests at the Courtyard Minneapolis Downtown, you will welcome each traveler in for their stay and thank them on their way out after ensuring they had a wonderful visit with us. You will be able to review special requests, answer questions, and provide immediate attention to any guest concerns. We will enable you with the training and tools to be successful in a supportive, energetic environment.
