The Role

As a member of our Guest Experience team, you’ll develop first-hand knowledge of the guest experience from first contact to check-out and beyond. You’ll have access to our upper management team, learning directly from experts within the field, gaining a first-hand understanding of how we are looking to disrupt the industry with the use of technology, how we craft our standards for excellence, and processes for success.

The Scope

With an overall focus on delivering a consistently incredible guest experience, we’ll share our knowledge of the industry, our systems, and how we get our guests to return to us over and over again. Through first hand experience you’ll develop knowledge of front office, guest relations, reception, housekeeping scheduling, and events. You’ll be responsible for interfacing with guests prior to and during their stay, working with other resort associates and resources to learn the essential aspects of our hotel operations.

As a team-player who is highly organized, it would be beneficial if you have previous experience of working within a hospitality role.

Guest Experience Associate Job Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Assists guests and owners in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
  • Knows all essential aspects of our hotel operations.
  • Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Facilitates correspondence with guests.
  • Works collaboratively with any resort associates and resources.
  • Provide information to guests about special activities.
  • Keep the front desk area clean and stocked with items needed for guests.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Hospitality degree or prior resort or hotel experience preferred
  • Computer skills
  • Able to read, write and converse in English fluently

Summary

As a Guest Experience Associate, you will be responsible for greeting guests and providing outstanding guest service during their stay. You must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding guest service to our guests. You must also have the ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external Guests. This position may require you to work weekends, evening, days, and statutory holidays. This is a seasonal position.
