Hopscotch San Antonio is our first permanent location, 20,000 square foot space located in the heart of downtown. It will consist of our ticketed gallery experience that includes 13 unique installations as well as our public space that includes a lounge, gift shop, outdoor patio and food truck.
Minimum Qualifications:
Hours of Operation (May Shift Based on Demand)
- Wednesday & Thursday 11am - 9pm
- Friday & Saturday 11am - 11pm
- Sunday 11am - 9pm
- Currently, Hopscotch is closed Monday and Tuesday, but will expand operating hours due to demand for events or summer hours.
- Some additional shifts may be available for private events or installation maintenance
**Ideal candidates must be available to work every weekend.
**$13 per hour compensation to start. Free parking during your shifts, parking garage is attached to the building, monthly comped tickets and discounts to our Retail store after 30 days.
JOB DESCRIPTION: GUEST AMBASSADOR
Hopscotch is looking for hospitality professionals, students, hosts, guides or creative types to fill the position of Guest Ambassador. If you love to talk and engage with people and are passionate about being a part of a team that provides a great customer experience, then you will be a perfect fit! You must be reliable, punctual, love to engage with guests and take on challenges with enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the Hopscotch brand with integrity and enthusiasm to hundreds of guests per day.
- Ensure cleanliness of assigned station and general gallery at all times.
- Work both cooperatively as part of a team and independently.
- Interact with guests to provide insight to our unique experiences.
- Describe installations with enthusiasm while also monitoring them to ensure they aren’t tampered.

- Flexible and open scheduling availability with the ability to work evenings, holidays and weekends as required
- Reliable and responsive.
- Naturally comfortable meeting new people with a passion for making people smile.
- Willing to stand for long periods of time in spaces that are of varying size and light.
- A person who loves art and creating experiences.
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Flexible schedule (must be able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays, as events require)
