Title: Groundskeeper/Porter - Lafayette, LA

Rampart/Wurth Holding, Inc. a top leader in the Property Management business, currently has an opening for a Groundskeeper.

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Constantly observes condition of apartment community throughout and immediately reports and/or initiates action to correct unsafe conditions.
• Physically walk the community on a frequent basis and removes litter, debris and pet droppings from the grounds.
• Perform "trash-out" duties at vacated apartments on a daily basis.
• Details community on a regular basis. Cleans and rakes shrub areas; keeps sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and brush.
• Assist with "make-ready" duties when requested by the Site Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Help clean and maintain storage areas.
• Perform interior and exterior painting duties when requested.
• Complete minor and routine service requests when requested by Site Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager.

Qualifications for this position:

• At least 1 year experience in grounds-keeping / porter work preferred, not required
• Able to take direction
• Effectively prioritize and multi-task
• Excellent people skills
• Strong working knowledge and skilled in the use of required equipment and hand tools
• Dependable
• Proactive, initiate follow-through
