Grinder Operator/Mechanic/Production Plant Laborer

Ernst Seeds, Inc., the largest producer of native grass and forb seeds in the eastern U.S., has
opportunities for a large agriculture equipment operator/mechanic at our expanding Meadville, PA
facility. Ernst Biomass LLC, a division of Ernst Seeds, Inc. processes a variety of plant fibers into
industrial absorbents, animal bedding, and other products.
Duties include:
- Operating large equipment.
- Assisting with maintenance /upkeep, daily cleaning of your area and equipment.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Other plant and equipment operations as needed.
Candidates must possess a minimum high school education/equivalent and a valid PA
driver’s license. Must be able to work in a team environment, have verbal communication
skills, organizational skills, able to lift 65+ pounds, and work outdoors. Ability to operate (or
willing and able to learn) a forklift & farm machinery a must.
This is a full-time position and wages are based on qualifications and experience. Benefits
