Job Title: Graphic Designer for Sign Company

SUMMARY: The Graphic Designer is responsible designing and producing graphics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Design and create all types of signs- vinyl, digital, and various outside service products, or components.

· Save Files in Organized Folders to Server

· Output digital print graphics to Various Types of Equipment (plotter, printer, router)

· Mask, weed and apply vinyl to substrates

· Must be able to use an xacto knife, tape measure, ruler, and production tools efficiently.

· Maintain an organized, clean, and professional shop appearance at all times

· Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelors degree required; major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.

· 2-3 years work experience working in sign industry preferred

· Proficient with MS Office Programs

· Proficient with Illustrator, Photo Shop, Flexi-Sign, or Corel Draw a must

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:

· Able to regularly and independently travel to and from work and client sites

· Regularly required to: climb (ladders), lift, stand; walk; talk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and balance

· Must be able to occasionally move objects in excess of 50 lbs.

· Specific vision abilities include: clarity of vision; and ability to adjust eye to bring an object into sharp focus

· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Wilmington, DE 19804: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Graphic design: 1 year (Required)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
