Job description
  • Responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of prospective students for Metropolitan Colleges Graduate degree and certificate programs.
  • Conduct outreach through various communication tools (phone, email, text) with potential students that have inquired or applied for MET's graduate or certificate programs.
  • Following a consultative service approach, learn the educational needs and career goals of prospective students in order to effectively provide information, answer questions, assist with the application process and ultimately facilitate matriculation for successful applicants.
  • Participate in recruitment strategy implementation and planning; working closely with the Assistant Director of Admissions, Assistant Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Services, academic program directors, and marketing staff.
  • Work in a team approach to execute a strategic recruitment plan to achieve graduate enrollment goals through coordinated, planned, and timely practices.
  • Track all communications through proficient use of CRM.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge base of the academic requirements and common admissions issues for a portfolio of designated graduate programs.
  • Develop and maintain excellent collegial working relationship with academic department faculty and staff in order to facilitate an efficient admissions operation.
  • Monitor accepted students to answer questions and facilitate matriculation.
  • Work to facilitate the hand-off of matriculating students to the academic departments to ensure a smooth and seamless transition from the student point of view.
  • Work with marketing representatives, under the direction of the Assistant Director of Admissions to strategize, create, and distribute marketing materials.
  • Participate in the creation and presentation of webinars, information sessions, and other admissions events.


Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and three to five years of related experience or equivalent required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
