As a Livi GP, you'll be a key player in digital healthcare, providing either NHS-partnered or private video appointments to patients across the UK.

You'll work independently, but will be fully trained and supported by our medical and operational teams - so you can spend more time with patients and less time on admin.

We are seeking to recruit registered GPs to work on our Healthcare Advice Line working night shifts. The Healthcare Advice Line gives policy holders 24/7 access to a health professional by telephone.

As a HAL clinician, you will speak directly to patients aged 18 and over and assess their health needs. You will use your clinical judgement and expertise to treat patients via telephone triage, signpost them to an appropriate service (for example: in person GP consultation with their own NHS GP or an Urgent Care Centre) or give them advice on how to manage their condition at home. You will be expected to recognise emergency situations and escalate them accordingly. You will be confident in recognising and reporting any safeguarding concerns.

The role is fully remote, but you must be based in the UK. You will be provided with all the necessary equipment to access the relevant clinical systems and conduct patient consultations. The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are looking specifically for candidates that can work 12 hour sleeper shifts, either as part of a rota or a fixed shift pattern. The expectation would be to respond to calls as and when they came in overnight using our remote system.

Essential criteria:

• GMC registered GP with the right to work in the UK.

• At least 1 years experience post CCT

• Have experience of telephone triage

• Passion and commitment to providing outstanding patient care

• Commitment to continuous professional development within a well-supported and well-structured team

• Fast, reliable internet access and a quiet, confidential home working environment

• Compassionate and an excellent communicator.

Desirable:

• Experience working in the private sector

Rate: £200 per night shift.
