Our role

iProov is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Global PR Manager to accelerate its momentum and leadership in the biometric facial verification market. The candidate will have a proven track record in turbo-charging the global visibility of scale-up organizations in the cybersecurity or digital identity sectors. The candidate must be well-versed in disrupting and influencing media narratives on cybersecurity and other fast-evolving themes, with the ability to spot a good story at 50 paces and leverage it for maximum use across the business.

The proven ability to manage global PR agencies to proactively stimulate media coverage and maximize return on investment is essential. Out-of-the-box thinking is a must-have quality, as is a “can-do” attitude and creative problem solving when obstacles arise. The ideal candidate will have a well-developed executive presence and be a trusted advisor to the CEO, CMO, and rest of the executive team.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Marketing and CMO, the Global PR Manager will engage with customers, partners, executives, and various teams throughout iProov, communicating the value of PR while proactively leveraging knowledge and expertise at all levels.

What You Will Do

• Build and run a world-class international PR program that elevates iProov’s position as a global leader in the cybersecurity, digital identity, and biometric sectors.
• Plan and execute successful results-focused PR and media strategies that increase visibility and brand awareness of iProov in our four key regions.
• Put measurable monthly, quarterly, and annual tactical PR plans in place for each region, delivering a regular stream of news including customer and partner win announcements, new product launches, research publication, and company growth statements.
• Closely manage activity to ensure targets are met, using press releases, pitches, newsjacking, and all other PR tactics.
• Manage the PR agencies in each region on a daily and weekly basis as required, ensuring SLAs are in place and that the deliverables agreed in those SLAs are being met every month.
• Manage a successful speaker program for iProov by identifying opportunities and drafting and submitting high quality speaker submissions.
• Plan and execute media plans for iProov at key trade events globally.
• Support the management of a customer advocacy program that engages prospects, customers, and influencers.
• Provide high quality award submissions to ensure that iProov wins a number of industry awards every year.
• Deliver website traffic and inbound sales leads through win announcements, customer news, newsjacking, and other PR activity.
• Share digests of media coverage to internal teams, enabling articles to be sent to prospects to generate leads and progress opportunities.
• Define and agree KPIs and other metrics for PR globally, ensuring that targets are met and that reporting is delivered in a timely manner.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive experience managing PR within fast-paced start-ups or mid-size B2B cybersecurity companies.
• A wealth of demonstrable experience in creating and executing creative PR strategies and tactical plans that surpass targets and expectations.
• A glowing track record of getting results from international PR agencies, leveraging expertise, media networks, and maximizing return on investment
• A laser-sharp focus on delivering results, and using metrics and data to show value and return on PR investment.
• A hands-on approach to writing press releases, briefing journalists, and getting stuck in with day-to-day PR tactics.
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications.
