Johnson & Johnson New Planned Consumer Health Company is currently recruiting for a Global Benefits Leader. This position will be located in Skillman, New Jersey.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The Global Benefits Leader will work together with the Head of Global Benefits and will lead all the strategic direction, planning, and design of the Global Benefits programs including leaves/time-off, employee recognition, car/fleet, employee discounts, perks/allowances, and flexible working arrangements within the Total Rewards group

  • Manage all day-to-day activities of the Global Benefits team in the evaluation, design, and implementation of leaves /time-off, employee recognition, car/fleet, employee discounts, and perks/allowances

  • Provide expertise, as well as project leadership and project management in all aspects of their areas of responsibility including but not limited to planning, design, market data analysis, vendor analysis, and selection

  • Ensure that comprehensive processes are in place to measure the effectiveness of plans and programs measured against design strategies and outcome expectations

  • Understand customer requirements and define Key Performance Indicators that are critical for the quality of tracking and evaluation of plans and programs

  • Providing guidance and supporting the sign-off for deployment at regional and local levels of global programs and policies

  • Leading change in this area from conceptualization and getting “buy-in” to implementation in partnership with regional Total Rewards and business partners

  • Utilizing benchmarking and industry trend analysis to help identify any plan or program-related issues, such as regulatory changes, determining solutions, and documenting agreements for communication to all stakeholders

Qualifications


Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in benefits and/or related HR area

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, management, and administration of global employee benefit plans and programs

  • Strong knowledge of the design, funding, valuation, cost management, tax, and financial reporting aspects of employee benefits plans and programs

  • Exposure to cross-functional business processes and the ability to work successfully in a matrixed environment are required

  • Proven ability to influence the course of action when others are directly accountable for the outcome

  • Strong executive presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, and able to respectfully question and/or challenge others to think through problems, improvement opportunities, solutions, and plans

  • Must be able to operate as a global leader with an understanding and appreciation for regional differences

  • Proven experience developing authentic partnerships with enterprise business leaders; ability to influence and negotiate is required

  • The ability to design and promote a global vision aligned with the needs of employees and the marketplace

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead sustained change efforts

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%


Preferred Competencies:

  • A Master's or Advanced Degree preferred


The anticipated base pay range for this position is $113,000 to $195,500.
