General Pediatrician

We are seeking a licensed, Board-certified or Board-eligible pediatrician to join our private, thriving pediatric practice in Coffee County, Tennessee. Our clinic is expanding, and we are in need of a compassionate and flexible physician who has a heart to serve children and adolescents in primary care. A successful candidate will have a team spirit and positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important, as well as a friendly demeanor. We are a work-family focused on providing the best possible care for our patients while also creating a comfortable, caring atmosphere.

We strive to deliver care that is effective for each patient, therefore our practice provides a hybrid of team-based and patient-centered care using evidence-based practices. We serve a large Medicaid and adolescent population and have integrated behavioral health. Our practice is constantly improving the quality of our care and collaborating with other services in the community to meet the needs of our patients. We are a certified Patient Centered Medical Home and a Rural Health Center. Our practice is well-established, serving families in the Coffee County community for over 20 years. We have three locations to serve our patients: Tullahoma, Manchester and Fayetteville (Lincoln County).

We are looking for a primary care physician to see patients primarily in our Manchester Pediatrics clinic with occasional travel to Tullahoma. All offices are open to patients Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. A clinic may offer some evening appointments depending on patient need. The Tullahoma clinic is open seasonally on Saturdays from 9am – 12pm, staffed on rotation. Applicant must be available on a rotation basis for evening appointments (5pm – 7pm), Saturdays, and after-hour patient calls. Physicians and Nurse Practitioners generally see patients 4 days a week.

Physicians are credentialed with courtesy privileges at local hospitals and do not have any rounding requirements, though they may choose to pursue full privileges. Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital and Unity Medical Center are the two hospitals in Coffee County and Lincoln County Hospital is in Fayetteville. We utilize eClinicalWorks EMR to care for patients and we have access to Vanderbilt records via provider portal.

Salary and benefits such as tuition reimbursement and moving expenses are negotiable based on qualifications and experience. Group health, dental, vision, life insurance, and short-term disability are available. Our retirement plan is a Simple IRA. We also offer paid time off and paid CME.

Coffee County is situated in Mid-Tennessee between Nashville, Chattanooga and Huntsville. We are near Tim’s Ford State Park, Bear Trace Golf Course, Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park and many other natural areas with opportunities to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Tullahoma is home to Arnold Air Force Base and the University of Tennessee Space Institute. We are neighbors to Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg and home to the George Dickel Distillery. Coffee County hosts the annual Bonnaroo Music Festival. The South Jackson Center and the Manchester Arts Center host local theatre companies and provide a variety of quality entertainment.
