Summary:

The General Manager, US Services Operations reports directly to the Vice President of Advanced Compression and Sealing (‘the Company’) and is responsible for overseeing Safety, Production, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, Inside Sales, Customer Service and Manufacturing Engineering; all relating to the operations of the US service centers.

Responsibilities:

SQDP

 Own P&L statements and execute accurate workforce planning, operating expense, and capital expenditure budgets

 Champion a process and metrics-driven culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement (key KPIs include bookings, revenue, gross margin, operating profit; quality, inventory on hand and inventory turns, days sales/payables outstanding, productivity, on-time delivery, and total recordable incident rate)

 Supports the implementation and training of continuous improvement principles within the shop environment. Implements best practices and improvements that have been identified by Dover Precision Components employees and management

 Champions process improvement and lean manufacturing activities; oversees the implementation of best practices across manufacturing/repair operations

Sales and Operational Strategy

 Demonstrate success in capitalizing on business opportunities, while leading and driving effective Sales and Operations planning in partnership with Sales Leadership

Merger and Acquisitions

 Support M&A activities, planning, and integration to support inorganic growth of the business

Minimum required qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, engineering, or related field is required

 MBA preferred

The ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities:

 A high-performance and strategically inspired, passionate business leader with proven experience leading consumer organizations, directly influencing revenue performance

 A broad technical background in manufacturing, repair and maintenance in rotating compressor equipment and components

 Agility and ability to succeed into a Business Unit leader role managing large complex P&L’s

 A minimum of 10+ years of experience in leading teams within a matrix organization

 5+ years of P&L management experience, with demonstrated ability to drive product margin and overall profitability, is preferred
