General Maintenance Engineer
Job description
Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
- Basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Carpentry and screening.
- Interior and exterior painting.
- Changing locks, installing smoke alarms.
- Pool maintenance.
- Maintain shop and tools in clean, orderly and safe condition.
- Periodically clean gutters, drain water heaters.
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Pay Scale: $18 - $21 per hour

Experience
Preferred- 1 year(s): Knowledge/Education/Experience: • Minimum of one year maintenance experience • Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, screening and locks • Proper tool and chemical use
