GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position will conduct various duties, including working on assembly, painting, operating punch press, operating laser, operating saw, and any other positions as needed. This position will use hands or machines to do the job with greater precision and must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, etc. and follow them with precision is extremely important.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains good housekeeping of work area
• Maintains high safety focus
• Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
• Check output to ensure highest quality
• Maintains efficiency standards set for assigned area
• Safely and efficiently operates assigned equipment or machines
• Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Responsible for other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Record keeping, and organizational skills
• Ability in using various tools (e.g. clamps & tape measure)
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOP’s and safety documents
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Positive attitude and highly motivated
• The ability to lift up to 40lbs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
