Provide General Business Support for a Growing Education-Focused Business

● General business support @ $20-$25/hour based on experience for 10-20 hours/week.

Who are we? MC2 Education LLC is a woman-owned small business in Albuquerque, NM, that supports education nonprofits, schools, districts, the state and national research firms in helping our communities learn what works best in education. We focus on a broad range of programs and outcomes - from dual language education to high dosage tutoring. We design and implement research and evaluation partnerships with our clients that elevate all voices and lead to co-designed tools for deeper learning.

Who are we hiring? We are hiring support staff to assist our business operations by editing and organizing documents/products, scheduling and supporting meetings, and generally pitching in where help is needed.

What are we looking for? The key traits we are looking for are:

(1) attention to detail;

(2) proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Forms; and

(3) positive energy.

We value diversity of thought, background, and lived experiences. The ideal candidate will also care deeply about improving school experiences for historically and currently marginalized communities. There are no education requirements for this position.

Finally, while not a prerequisite the following skills are also highly valued:

● experience with Google Looker Studio and/or other data dashboard software,

● familiarity with ethical research that elevates participant voice, and

● English-Spanish bilingual.

What is required? As an independent contractor, this position requires a working computer. Work can be conducted remotely and your schedule will be flexible (although the selected candidate is also welcome to work in our office building located at 8th and Silver). Please note MC2 may require additional training and/or a background check for the selected candidate because they may be provided access to sensitive personal and protected information about study participants and/or the candidate may be asked to visit schools to conduct directed research (candidate’s will be compensated for their time and costs).
